Juntae Kim

Juntae Kim, a Seoul-based clothing brand founded in 2021 by designer Juntae Kim, redefines genderless fashion by reinterpreting historical women's costumes as contemporary menswear. Born in South Korea, Kim studied womenswear in Seoul before pursuing menswear at London College of Fashion and later earning an MA at Central Saint Martins in 2019. A 2023 LVMH semi-finalist, his brand challenges binary constructions by blending traditional crafts with modern techniques, modernizing ancient textiles, and subverting stereotypical Asian tropes to foster inclusivity across race, gender, and class.
