Founded in 1998 by Stay Gold Company, A Hope Hemp is a Japanese brand that creates premium products through the use of hemp. Their mission: to better utilize hemp as an alternative to cotton in the fashion industry to push for a more sustainable future. The label originally started crafting t-shirts that had an everlasting first wear feeling, and applied their research & development of craftsman material into the production of socks. Each sock is created from a vintage threading machine hand operated by artisans in Nara, Japan - a process that requires a great deal of attention & care.
