The 9060 represents a fresh embodiment of the refined style and innovative design that have defined the 99X series as home to some of New Balance's most iconic models. Taking inspiration from the proudly futuristic, visible tech aesthetic of the Y2K era, the 9060 reimagines familiar elements sourced from classic 99X models with a unique twist. The sway bars, originally found in the 990, are expanded and integrated throughout the entire upper to create a visually dynamic effect. Meanwhile, the sculpted pod midsole features wavy lines and scaled-up proportions, drawing attention to the familiar cushioning platforms of ABZORB and SBS in an exaggerated manner. This fusion of elements adds a touch of avant-garde sensibility to the overall design of the 9060.
