Not Sponsored, Just Obsessed: Our Favorite Local Spots - LIKELIHOOD

We love Seattle!

Our team is always out and about, and we’re constantly being asked for our favorite spots to eat, drink, and explore. So, we put together a list; and since we’re out all the time, it gets updated a lot. If you’re visiting, start here. These aren’t generic tourist picks, these are real recommendations from our team. We’ve been there, we loved it, and we think you will too.

Trust us, they’re good.

HUNGRY??

Anbai Seattle

This spot came personally recommended by our Karhu rep, Satoshi, and his wife.
Owned by licensed and certified fermented–food and beverage sommelier Fumiyo, Anbai serves simple, honest, homestyle Japanese comfort food. From bento boxes to warm miso soup, it’s the perfect go-to—whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or planning a full date night.

It also comes highly recommended by Likelihood owners Aaron and Daniel, who say it’s “so healthy, so delicious!”

Location: 1424 11th Ave ste e, Seattle, WA 98122

Willmott's Ghost

Tucked into a corner of the Amazon Spheres, this brick oven pizza spot is a consistent favorite for the LIKELIHOOD team. Known for its clean, locally sourced ingredients, it’s a go-to for owners Daniel and Aaron. Their must-orders? The focaccia, the pepperoni pizza (a standout among all the pies), and the prosciutto.

Location: 2100 6th Ave, Seattle, WA 98121

Serious Pie/Dahlia Bakery

Even skeptics will be surprised by the kale salad, and the world-famous coconut cream pie is a must-try—rich with layers of coconut flavor. While you're there, stop by the neighboring Dahlia Bakery for top-notch breakfast sandwiches, peanut butter cookies, and mini bites of their iconic coconut cream pie.

Location: 2001 4th Ave, Seattle, WA 98121

UMI Sushi House

Bringing big flavor and sleek vibes to the heart of Seattle. From melt-in-your-mouth sashimi to creative rolls and craft cocktails, it’s the perfect spot for a stylish night out. It’s where sushi dreams roll after all.
"A sushi and Sake house. So good. It’s all delicious. Never had a bad bite here,"  - Daniel, co-owner owner of LIKELIHOOD

Location: 2230 1st Ave, Seattle, WA 98121

Cornelly Pizza and Pasta

What started as a tiny hole-in-the-wall in Capitol Hill and has since become a full-on Seattle favorite. The 'Hornet Honey' pizza is a must, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of the pizzas, pastas, or desserts. It’s artisan food without any of the pretense, just really good, comforting dishes. Daniel and Aaron eat here every week, and if the Capitol Hill spot’s too packed, check out their new, bigger location in Queen Anne.

Capitol Hill Location: 601 Summit Ave E #103, Seattle, WA 98102
Queen Anne Location: 2121 Queen Anne Ave N Seattle, WA 98119

Ramen DANBO

Lots of Ramen places in Seattle, this is a fan favorite. Naravie loves the veggie Ramen with the sweet tofu on top. Tracie loves all the add ons to the ramen. Line goes quickly too.

Location: 1222 E Pine St, Seattle, WA 98122

Asadero

Asadero isn’t your typical taco joint as much as it is a full-blown ode to northern Mexican grilling. This spot brings serious heat to the Seattle food scene.
"Everything hits, from the smoky flavor to the handmade tortillas. It’s like discovering your new favorite spot and wondering why you didn’t come sooner.” - Justine, Product Manage

Location: 7900 East Green Lake Dr, Seattle, WA 98103

Ramie

Modern Vietnamese kitchen embedded in tradition and crafted for Seattle. Bright, herb-packed dishes and smoky grilled specialties.
"Must go for the H Ộ T VỊ T L Ộ N, which is a blend of egg and duck custard" - Edwin (aka Popla), Graphic Designer

Location: 1529 14th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122

Ox Burger

What we have here is an establishment that has smashburgers with soul, that just so happens to be in the heart of Seattle. This place is hard to be disappointed by, and even harder to follow up. Try any of their smashburgers and email customercare@likelihood.us to thank us later.

Location: 1523 E Madison St suite 101, Seattle, WA 98122

Kokos

They offer an unpretentious vibe and small plates, intentional cocktails, and a space that feels discerningly cool. You'll be sipping mezcals, neat or dirty, and diving into one of their dishes before you know it.
"They have a great happy hour, great ambience, and a killer burger!" - Tracie, Business

Location: 1201 10th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122

Bangrak Market

Not just serving Thai food, but they celebrates it. Pulling inspiration from regional street markets across Thailand. The menu is bold, rotating, and authentic.
"Authentic thai food with real night market ambiance so it makes for a great place to kick off a night out" - Naravie, Store Associate

Location: 2319 2nd Ave, Seattle, WA 98121

Café Suliman

Middle Eastern tapas in a cozy Melrose Market nook. Small space, big flavor, it’s all insanely delicious. We highly recommend the halloumi cheese and the hummus with lamb. The atmosphere is quaint, friendly, and relaxed; a recipe for a fantastic evening out. Not too fussy, just genuinely good food and warm hospitality.

Location: 1531 Melrose Ave. Seattle, Washington 98122

Doce Donuts

DOCE, means the number 12 in Spanish. It is pronounced like “Dough” followed by a “se” as in “several."
A real-deal Spanish-take on the donut game and totally worth it. There’s not a one that isn’t mouth-salivating delicious. The dough base is soft and delicious, and the flavor ideas are smart and inspired. DOCE is a small-batch company, so you’ll typically find only 8-10 varieties at a time, and they're all superb. Stop by for a treat or hunt for something extra special. Whatever the reason, DOCE delivers on both comfort and creativity.

Location: 2305 6th Ave, Seattle, WA 98121

La Parisienne French Bakery

A true taste of Paris in the heart of Seattle. La Parisienne brings that buttery and flaky texture (only dreamt of when you think of a Parisian café), and absolutely nails it. We’ll always push the almond croissant, but the chocolate chip cookie, and the kouign-amann are all perfectly rich and decadent. The space has that classic, elegant French charm, perfect for a slow morning or an afternoon pick-me-up. Indulge like crazy!

Location: 2507 4th Ave, Seattle, WA, Seattle, WA 98121

COMMUNION

Southern food with a ton of soul. The New York Times named it one of the Top 10 Restaurants in the U.S. in 2024, and it’s earned that honor more than once. The pork chop is otherworldly, and the collard greens, fried chicken, mac and cheese, and cornbread are all must-orders. Portions are generous, except for the “Ghetto Sushi,” which may be smaller but is absolutely worth trying. Don’t forget to grab some of Chef Kristi Brown’s proprietary spice blends on your way out. The food is of course outstanding, but what really stands out is the warmth and care in the service. Reservations are recommended — though if you get there before 4 p.m., you might just snag a walk-in spot.

Location: 2350 E Union St, Seattle, WA 98122

Cafe Lago

An Italian restaurant that only locals seem to know about, which is exactly what makes it special. Café Lago has been around for 25 years (and counting), quietly serving some of the best handmade pasta and wood-fired pizza in Seattle. Totally worth the trip. All the pastas and pizzas are delicious, but we highly recommend the lasagna and the gnocchi — both absolute standouts. The staff is wonderful, and the atmosphere feels like home. Co-owners, Daniel and Aaron go to Café Lago at least once a month...and that’s how good it is.

Location: 2305 24th Ave E, Seattle, WA 98112

These outdoor, and FREE spots, are perfect for slowing down, exploring the city, and soaking in a little Northwest scenery without spending a dime.

Gas Works Park

Industrial grit and perfect picnic vibes. The old gas plant gives it a look you won’t find anywhere else, and the hill serves up one of the best skyline views in the city. Come for the sunset, stay for the view, whichever, it’s all classic Seattle through and through.

Location: 2101 N Northlake Way, Seattle, WA 98103

A calm stretch of trails, trees, and water just minutes from the city. The Arboretum is where you slow down and regulate that nervous system. Just perfect for a walk, a quick reset, or just getting lost among the maples. It’s one of those spots that reminds us why Seattle feels so connected to nature.
