Junya Watanabe is the eponymous high-fashion label created by renowned Japanese designer Junya Watanabe. The designer began his journey working at Comme des Garcons, where the world of fashion was first introduced to his avant-garde aesthetic. Since designing under his own products under the CDG umbrella in 1992, the label has grown to become a powerhouse brand - largely standing out for challenging preconceived notions of fashion through innovative design aesthetics, deconstructed tailoring, and usage of advanced fabrics & textiles (also dubbed "techno couture”).
