Since creating FA almost two decades ago, creator Jason Dill has continued to cement his legacy in the world of skating and fashion. Before reaching his legendary status, Dill spent the early 2000s hand making designs on discarded garments that he began cycling through on Lafayette Street, home of Supreme in New York City. A purist in his own artistic sense, the creative has outwardly expressed his disgust for the internet and streetwear, instead labeling his brand “dystopian satire.” Fucking Awesome’s profane title is the best example of that, as FA is known for mocking American pop culture and its figures with intelligent irony. Dill and his collaborators’ message has always rang true to fashion’s elites, with cosigns from the likes of Justin Bieber, Rihanna, and Kanye West.
